Intro

Today we conclude our study of the Paul’s Letter to the Romans!  We began in 2021, during COVID, before we were back in-person.  Over the last four Spring semesters we have worked through four sermon series: (1) Does All Mean All? (2) Confident; (3) Romans 911; and (4) A Transformed Life.  All of the sermons are available on our church website (media tab).

At the end of 16 chapters, Paul writes: Romans 16:19a for your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you.  If the obedience of the Roman Christians is already known to all, and it fills Paul with so much joy, why would he write 16 chapters to bring about their obedience of faith?  Why would he begin his conclusion to the letter with the words, “watch out”?
