Intro

Last week, in part 1 of this 2-part message, we examined the restoration process (what we do when someone sins against us). As we bathe interpersonal conflict in prayer, Jesus will help us see ourselves and the one who has sinned against us.  He will help us listen well.  He will guide us as we pray. He will empower us to act according to His divine will.

Walking through conflict can feel like walking on water. If Jesus is inviting us to walk on water through tricky relationships, we can with His strength. And, if we feel we are sinking, He can grab us by the hand, just as He grabbed Peter. Nothing can separate us from His love.

In the midst of these interpersonal storms, there is this one essential thing we can do to free ourselves from being bound by offense and empower us to move through with faith, even when restoration does not happen. What is it?
