We know what it’s like to experience days that don’t go as planned. In today’s passage, we join the disciples as they experience a day in the life of Jesus that doesn’t go the way they expect. How does God work out His purposes when it seems like nothing’s going quite right?

God’s purposes are made clear though:

• God’s plan
• God’s provision
